One day in the Garden of Eden, Eve said to God: “God, I have a problem!”
“What’s the problem, Eva?”
“God, I know that you created me, gave me this beautiful garden and all these fabulous animals and this hilariously funny snake, but I am simply not happy.”
“Why aren’t you happy, Eva?” came the question from above.
“God, I’m lonely, and I just can’t look at apples anymore.”
“All right, Eva, in that case I have the solution to your problem. I will create a man for you and place him by your side.”
“What is a man, God?”
“This man will be a deformed creature, with many flaws and bad character traits. He will lie, cheat on you, and be incredibly vain and conceited. On the whole, he will make your life difficult. But he will be bigger, stronger, and faster, and he will love to hunt and kill things. He will look foolish when aroused, but since you complained, I will make him in such a way that he will satisfy your physical needs.”
He will be humorless and will love childish things like fighting and kicking a ball around more than anything. He also won’t have much sense, so he’ll need your advice to think sensibly.
“Sounds amazing,” said Eva, raising an eyebrow ironically. “What’s the catch, God?”
“Well, you can have him under one condition.”
“What condition is that, oh God?”
“As I said, he will be proud and arrogant and will always admire himself most of all. You will therefore have to let him believe that I created him first. Remember, this is our little secret. You know, woman to woman.”
